Old tyre recycling line is the third step in Shredwell tire recycling Line. At this stage, wire free chips from rubber mulch plant are processed into around 0-5mm rubber granules with fiber removed by vib-screen and zig-zag classifier. During this process, the crumb rubber granules are shred and potentially re-circulated,leaving a clean, uniform rubber granule around 99.9% cleanness.

Crumb rubber has numerous uses-like rubber crumb is widely used in sports field, like running tracks,artificial grass,playground or rubber tile, which is widely used in gym, walking street, stud-farm or playground, etc, many athletic field and sporting surfaces utilize crumb rubber as a soft and aborbent layer. Also lots of rubber modified asphalt roadways and rubber sealants also use crumb rubber as a main infgredient. The recovered steel can be melted and reused. Textile has a very high effective burning value and can therefore be mixed with other materials in order to increase that material's effective burning value.

1. Tyre Shredder:

2. Rasper
Shredwell’s Rasper machine is the ultimate machine in tire recycling plant for medium grinding and steel separation. It is main function is to process pre-shredded tire chips and produce 12-25mm (0.5’’-1’’) wire free rubber chips. One of the greatest features the rasper has is the unique blades, by using the top grade tooling steel, keeping the hardness in a reasonable range (heated-treated strictly to the standard requirements), highly enhanced it’s performance, and make their service life much longer, and the clients are able to decrease the maintenance cost by changing the assembling direction of the blades if one side of the blades are worn.

3.Rubber Granulator
Shredwell’s rubber granulators, the best equipment in used tyre recycling plant for fine size grinding and nylon removal. It’s able to shred the 12-25mm wire free mulch to 1-6mm rubber granules, the nylon will be separated by granulator and removed by zig zag classifier. During the granulation process, 99.9% of fiber will be removed, leaving clean fine crumb rubber for further processing. The granulator’s blades are made of top special steel; heat-treated by Bodycote, enable an excellent cutting performance.
